Bookkeeper/Office Admin
Currently hiring one bookkeeping/office admin position. Position will start with 4 hours per week and grow quickly when operations & workload requires and when we have time to train and teach the next tasks. Please note this is not available as a remote work position and does require the employee to come into work at the Jasper Hinton Airport.
Duties
- Bookkeeping (obviously!)
- Answering phones to book flights for tourists and industry clients
- Other office Admin tasks
Requirements
- Personable & friendly
- Extremely organized
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Resourcefulness
- Must work well alone, often we are out flying and are unable to help. However, we also expect someone to be a team player, work with us to come up with solutions and be respectful. This requires ability to work well with a small team, under direct supervision and also with no supervision.
- Computer skills, we aren't great at "paperwork" and need someone who actually likes computers and software programs.
- Outstanding communication skills- because our work requires us to be away from the office so much we need someone who can deliver the information efficiently and effectively. We also need to know about any concerns immediately before they build into problems.
Skills considered an asset
- Previous experience in bookkeeping- we use Quickbooks
- Proficiency in Google sheets and Microsoft excel
- Non code website building and/or the ability to learn software quickly
- If interested in gaining more hours, aircraft and hangar cleaning could be added as well
