Silver Package
Your Silver Jasper Helicopter Proposal package includes a 30 minute helicopter tour of Jasper National Park. Highlighted by a surprise landing where you have 30 minutes to wander and explore,
and then get down on one knee to propose!

Your Gold Jasper Helicopter Proposal package includes:
- 40 minute helicopter tour of the Jasper National Park
- Surprise mountaintop landing
- Total of 1 hour on the mountain

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you keep the proposal a surprise?
When you arrive to check in at the Jasper Hinton Airport, we will pretend like you are checking for a shared public 30 minute tour. If you've chosen a tour with a photographer, they will arrive and pretend to just be another passenger, with no camera visible. If you've chosen the Silver package we pretend like you were the only ones booked into that time slot. Eventually during the tour the photographer will get the camera out (usually you and your partner will sit in the back together and the photographer in the front) then the photographer will just be taking landscape photos, secretly getting ready to take some photos of you. Part way through the tour the pilot will ask if everyone has some extra time to do a landing- usually on top of mountain- weather permitting! Of course everyone will say yes and we land in a beautiful spot. Then everyone disembarks and takes some time to walk around. The photographer will offer to take some photos of you and share after the flight. Of course you will say yes and this is your opportunity to propose with a beautiful backdrop and the camera rolling.
Can we bring our own photographer?
Yes! of course you can! We recommend going with the Silver proposal package if you want to bring along your own photographer. With the Gold package the photographer and photo shoot is included in the price, and we are unable to make reduction in price on these packages. The Silver package gives you the flexibility to make all your own arrangements. Including your own drinks and snacks, too! We love our photographers, just look at all those amazing photos above!
If I book the Gold or Platinum Package can we make adjustments to the drinks/charcuterie board?
Yes of course you can. In the booking form questionnaire there is a section that says "anything else we should know" just put your request in there. We can accommodate dietary restrictions like gluten free, dairy free, non alcoholic "champagne". Anything at all just let us know- we're pretty flexible like that!
What should we bring?
We recommend dressing for the outdoor weather and then bringing some extra layers. If you'd like to leave it in the car when you check in we will make the recommendation upon arrival to grab extra layers before we take off. This way it doesn't give the extra landing secret away, because we always recommend extra layers even on tours without remote landings. This way it doesn't appear to your partner to be planned.
Winter proposals?
Yes! The mountain top landings are incredible with snow capped backgrounds for your photos. Keep in mind if temperatures are cold we may have to decrease landing time for safety reasons. But we are confident that you will be ready to go before we are if it's really chilly!
Where do you land?
Our first choice for landing is one of several mountains tops that are pre approved for safe landing zones. If weather doesn't permit these, we then chose a lower site with a beautiful back drop. Typically the mountains don't have names (yes there are that remote) and we don't share location names if we have them- this keeps the landing site remote and low traffic.
Can we use the Gold Proposal package for our elopement?
In our experience this just doesn't work. For an elopement, you need more time. People have tried and run out of time and felt rushed on their wedding day. That isn't cool and doesn't feel good to us. We highly recommend one of the wedding packages for your elopement.

KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:
- We recommend you book your flight on the first day you are in Jasper. In case of weather delay, there’s still time to reschedule your flight.
- Check in is 30 minutes prior to your flight. If you’re really early we may not be able to greet you as we’ll be out flying, please be patient with us! If you're late for your flight it may be cancelled.
- The location of the Jasper Hinton Airport is correct in all GPS including google maps, approximately 45 minutes east from Jasper, 1 hour if there are sheep on the road! Please come right into the terminal when you arrive. Don’t worry it’s a tiny airport and you’ll find the terminal no problem!
- Please wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activities. No open toed shoes allowed. Windproof and waterproof layer is highly recommended, especially for mountain top landings. Winter mountain landings require winter gear!!!
- Weather- we will do a weather check 2 hrs prior to your flight. If there are any concerns we will call you. Please ensure we have a number we are able to reach you at! If you don’t hear from us 1 hour before your flight, assume it’s a go. Please note: we will not discuss weather prior to 2 hrs before your flight. Weather cancellations will be 100% refunded.
- Aircraft emergencies- sometimes our aircrafts respond to life threatening emergencies such as; back country rescues, wildfires, floods etc. And sometimes our aircrafts are grounded for unscheduled maintenance. In the event one of these situations arise we will ask for your patience and understanding. We will attempt to reschedule your flight. If that is impossible, we will refund your deposit.
- Cancellation policy is 24hrs notice. For Flights that include and additional service- hiking guide, Indigenous guide or photographer it's a minimum of 4 days notice of cancellation.
- Landing locations are at the sole discretion of the pilot and decisions are made based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: current and forecasted wind and cloud, weight of the aircraft, pressure altitude, sunlight, wildlife, allotted flight time, legalities of the Jasper National park.
Platinum Package
Your Platinum Jasper Helicopter Proposal package includes:
- An all day helicopter excursion, with up to 2 hours of flight time
- 2 mountain landings
- Heli paddle boarding at a blue glacier lake (or a beautiful hike if it's too chilly!)
- Mountaintop picnic with a delicious charcuterie board from Mountain Grazing Co.

- A professional photographer to document your special moment
